Morgins Touring Tracks is a special area entirely dedicated to ski-touring.
Nothing beats the feeling of earning your turns! The first of its kind in Valais, the innovative Touring Tracks Rando Park in Morgins, designed by Yannick Ecoeur, offers a unique approach to ski touring.
Seven marked trails of varying difficulty provide a safe training ground for skiers of all levels and ensure better cohabitation between alpine skiers and ski tourers. The Rando Park’s purpose is to encourage the practice of this fun and challenging sport in a way that respects the environment and our fellow winter-sports lovers.
Two blue trails, three red trail and one black provide routes ranging from 1.5 hours to 2 hours 45 minutes and an average elevation gain of 600 m.
An informational sign at the start of the tracks offers a map and practical information about the Touring Tracks Park and a handy brochure available at the local tourist offices fits right in your pocket on your way out the door.
Best time of year
To ensure the safety of the downhill itineraries, the rando-parc opens at the same time as the ski lifts, particularly the ‘Foilleuse’ and ‘Didier Défago’ runs.
