A magnificent challenge for ski mountaineering enthusiasts and competitors at heart!
Ski touring enthusiasts can enjoy the legendary Montée de la Foilleuse. With a distance of 2.66 km and a vertical drop of 520 m, it is suitable for all profiles. Beyond the sporting aspect, the Montée de la Foilleuse is above all a moment of sharing.
This year, the traditional race will host the Swiss Vertical Race Championships.
Practical info:
– Race management would like to inform you that for organizational reasons, the race is only open to skiers and not snowshoers.
– Participants’ spare bags will be transported by the organization and the descent will be made on skis.
– The trail will not be lit, so headlamps are obligatory.
– The restaurant La Foilleuse will be happy to welcome you after the race to enjoy a good meal. (Rice, sliced chicken with coconut milk curry sauce and dessert. For vegetarians, the minced chicken can be replaced by vegetables).
– The Morgins gondola will run non-stop until 10pm. Ski passes can be picked up at the bib check-in desk from 5.30pm to 6.50pm from the gondola lift (lift pass prices apply).

> 5:30 pm to 6:50 pm: Number collection from the gondola lift
> 19h15: Race start and popular race
> 19h35: Arrival of the first runners
> 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm: Concert by "The Asymetric" at La Foilleuse (piano, vocals & guitar)
> 9:10pm: Prize-giving ceremony
> 9:50pm: Last gondola descent.
