Elite Figure Skating Training Center, School of Stéphane Lambiel
The Skating School of Switzerland welcomes young skaters from around the world, from Swiss hopes to international champions such as Carolina Kostner, Miki Ando, Deniss Vasiljevs and Elizaveta Tuktamysheva. Since its opening in 2014 the school has twenty regular skaters from the region and more than 90 students who come to train at the Palladium de Champéry.
By creating this training center, Stéphane Lambiel wanted to gather all the necessary skills for the development of a young elite skater under one roof. For this reason, the school works on a personalized approach, private and group trainings and a complete program combining on ice work, physical training, dance classes and nutrition counseling or career management. Classes are taught by Stéphane Lambiel and his 2 assistants, both former international competitors.
The Summer Camp, an intensive training camp, held each year during the summer for two consecutifs weeks.
The objective of the Skating School of Switzerland is to offer top athletes the best possible coaching. Stéphane Lambiel has always wanted the team to be the main driver of his school in order to push everyone to realize their dream. Trust, respect, hard work, passion and communication are the key elements to the wellbeing of the school.
