Morgins – Pas de Fécon – Pointe du Midi – Morgins

Morgins

Perched on the Franco-Swiss border, the majestic Pointe du Midi overlooks the village of Morgins.

Set off in the direction of the They Valley. Just after the ranch and the yellow arch marking the start of the Chemin des Planètes, take the path on the right towards the campground & sports centre, then head up slightly to cross the Géant ski lift at about its midpoint. Join the marked path coming from the campsite in the direction of Fécon.

At the Fécon mountain pasture, take the very steep path to the Pas de Fécon. The ridge to your right follows the border to the Pointe du Midi. You’ll find a nice view on both sides, over the Vallée d’Abondance and the village of Morgins.

Descend on the other side to Chalet Aubert and then return to Morgins. Before arriving at the campsite, you can take a detour to Morgins Lake.

Return via the road leading to the campground or via the Sports Centre.
