A day to discover the joys of downhill mountain biking in the Portes du Soleil ski area, and enjoy the thrills!
Explore the Franco-Swiss Portes du Soleil ski area and enjoy the thrills. AC Accompagnement will take you on easy DH runs and advise you on riding techniques.
Program:
– Cycle from Morgins to the Châtel Bikepark, lunch in a high-altitude restaurant, then return to Morgins via Les Crosets.
Recommended equipment:
– Full-suspension mountain bike with hydraulic disc brakes, full-face helmet, back protector, knee pads, elbow pads and gloves (a big downhill bike with a double-T fork is not mandatory, but recommended, a good enduro mountain bike is sufficient)
– An inner tube adapted to the size of the bike
– A rucksack containing: a bottle of water, a K-Way, an inner tube adapted to the size of the bike, sun cream and sunglasses.
Practical information:
– The activity is accessible from the age of 10, a good general level of cycling is required
A minimum of technique is required, i.e. being comfortable with the brakes and a good balance standing on the bike, pedals flat and horizontal.
– Full-suspension mountain bike or E-Bike (adults only) with hydraulic disc brakes, in good condition. Full-face helmet, back protector, knee pads, elbow pads and gloves. (A big downhill bike with double-T forks is not compulsory; a good enduro mountain bike is sufficient).
-Lunch not included, at participant’s expense.
Reservations are open until 5:00 p.m. the day before.
