Practice your avalanche search and rescue safety skills - someone's life could depend on it!
For winter sports lovers who venture off-piste, even if it’s just looking for powder in gullies or beside a marked run, regularly practicing avalanche rescue scenarios is critical. For novices, a beacon park is like a snowy treasure hunt; the worse the weather, the better the hunt!
To use the park, you will need an avalanche beacon and probe. Equipment may be rented from Chamois Sports in Les Crosets or from Holiday Sport and Borgeat Sports in Champéry.
