Les Crosets – Col Portes du Soleil – Lac Vert – Chaupalin – Les Crosets

Les Crosets

Just a stone's throw from the French border, this limpid alpine lake is one of the Portes du Soleil's loveliest natural sites.

Situated at an altitude of 1,980 metres, the Lac Vert offers spectacular panoramas of the surrounding mountains, including the famous Portes du Soleil pass nearby.

Easily accessible on foot or by chairlift, this is a popular picnic destination for families and a renowned fishing spot!

Variation:
Take the Mossettes chairlift (schedule and prices at www.pds-ch.ch) and walk downhill to the Lac Vert. To return, walk in the direction of Les Crosets:
Mossettes summit – Lac Vert : approx 35 min.
Lac Vert – Les Crosets : 1h30

Good to know: Visitors can purchase a fishing licence at the Refuge de Chésery.

Turn-by-turn direction
