This week-long camp will teach your kids to shred like the experts, while making sure they learn safe riding habits from the get-go!
During his week-long course, your child will become a king of downhill mountain biking!
downhill mountain biking! Coached by an expert in the discipline, learn the different riding techniques and have fun on trails adapted to your level. A not-to-be-missed week for thrill-seekers!
Program:
– Technical training
– Ride and discover the Portes du Soleil Bike Park
– Pumptrack
– Introduction to bike maintenance and minor repairs
– Ride, ride, ride!
Difficulty :
– The camp is open to children aged 10 and over, but a good level of cycling is required. A minimum of technique is required. You need to be comfortable with the brakes and have good balance when standing on the bike, with the pedals flat and horizontal.
Equipment required:
– A full-suspension mountain bike with hydraulic disc brakes, full-face helmet, back protector, knee pads, elbow pads and gloves (a big downhill bike with a double-T fork is not compulsory, a good enduro mountain bike is sufficient).
Recommended equipment:
– A backpack containing a bottle of water, 2 cereal bars, sun cream and sunglasses (a more detailed list will be sent to participants once registration is complete).
