Folk groups, shows, concerts, processions and much more!

The authentic Rue du Village de Champéry will host folk groups and other musical surprises, as well as children’s entertainment throughout the day. At nightfall, the traditional torchlight parade will light up the Rue de Champéry, before the paragliders take to the skies.

Opening hours

Thursday 1st of August 2024.
- 6am: Diane by the Fanfare de l'Écho de la Montagne de Champéry
- 9 am > 11 am: Raiffeisen Rhône FM Tour
- 10 a.m. > 6 p.m.: Make-up on the theme of August 1st in front of the church
- 10:30 am > 11:30 am: August 1st mass at the Catholic church
- 11 a.m. > 3 p.m.: High altitude brunch at the top of the cable car
- 11:30 am > 12:30 pm: Champéry musical aperitif and presentation of medals to residents on the church forecourt
- 11h30 > 18h: Musical entertainment (alphorn, jazz, traditional songs...), balloon artists, flag thrower in Champéry village
- 17h30 > 18h30: Alpine horn and flag-throwing initiation on the church forecourt
- 6:15pm: Bell ringers in the village street (starting at Café du Nord)
- 7pm: FIFO folk dance group from New Caledonia perform in front of the church.
- 7:30pm: Country concert by Les Bergex in front of the church
- 9pm: Torchlight procession and parade of Champéry's local societies
- 22h: Official speeches and the national anthem by the Fanfare de l'Écho de la Montagne de Champéry
- 10:30 pm Show by the Val-d'Illiair paragliders and performance in front of the church
- 11pm: dance at Couvert de Broisin.
