Singer-songwriter of 7 albums for children (over 150 songs) including 3 gold discs, recommended by the DIP and sung in schools, recognized by Henri Dès, supported by Sanseverino who took part in the “Zingoingoin” album, applauded by over 50,000 fans during his tours throughout the French-speaking world, Gaëtan is one hell of a rascal who carves his own path as he chisels his career, with success and panache.
His first album (2001) “37 chansons courtes … “was so successful (gold disc) that Gaëtan released “Parler à la lune” (2004) in the same breath. This was followed by “Martin la Chance” (2008), which further boosted his father’s popularity. The album “Les chocottes” (2012, gold disc), new and unexpected, heralds the smashing release of “Zingoingoin” (2015). Number 6 with “Chope la banane” (2018), which delights the whole family and whose eponymous song becomes an anthem for all. And number 7 with “Le Noël de Gaëtan” (2020), Christmas songs that smell of gingerbread.
Since 2004, Gaëtan has been touring the French-speaking world, giving concerts as far afield as Haiti. In 2014, he celebrated 10 years on stage at the Opéra de Lausanne: it was a triumph! In 2016, his songs are orchestrated for 130 choristers and musicians: the “Symphoniquement Gaëtan” concert is acclaimed by an audience of 2,000! In summer 2018, he presents “Gaëtan, ses comptines de OUF!”, a one-man show that he performs over 100 times at the Comédie St-Michel in Paris, then at the Théâtre Le Funambule in Montmartre. After his major “Zingoingoin” tour (2015-2018), Gaëtan presents his new show “Chope la banane” (2019 -2022). In September 2022, Gaëtan will lend his voice to the story of “Peter and the Wolf”, accompanied by the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande OSR. 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the album “Les chocottes”, and will be the occasion for an anniversary tour featuring 3 exceptional, never-before-seen concerts in autumn, with a 50-strong brass band.
Gaëtan’s albums are famous at school! They are recommended by Swiss public education experts. Gaëtan creates the song “Frotte tes quenottes”, which becomes a prophylactic tool used in schools by oral hygiene teachers.
Gaëtan hosts the children’s program “Diane et Gaëtan, c’est maintenant!” every Sunday morning on RTS1. He composes the theme music for the children’s series “Les bidules de Jules” by the Guillaume brothers (Max & Co.) This series, translated into three languages, is broadcast on Swiss television. He also composed the soundtrack for the animated film “L’attaque des Gloutons”.
Since May 2019, Gaëtan has been presenting his own radio show, which gives a voice to children: “Chope la banane” on LFM.
