From March 2 to 8, 2025 in Morgins, the Dents du Midi region will host the memorable World Ski Mountaineering Championships, reviving past experiences such as the 2008 World Championships and the World Cup events held in 2022 and 2023.
The Dents du Midi region has been a ski mountaineering destination for many years, and an ideal training ground for regional athletes. In 2008, it was the first region in Switzerland to host the World Ski Mountaineering Championships. Ski touring is now considered a major tourist attraction, with thousands of hikers discovering this magnificent region through this sport.
