Wild foraging & Plant-based meals

Champéry

A discovery walk to learn more about edible plants, punctuated by a delicious meal based on local produce.

Following in the footsteps of Agnès, Nathalie Nemeth-Défago, a herbalist and mountain guide in the valley, will take you on an easy walk to discover edible wild plants and those that have been used since the dawn of time in the valley for medicinal purposes.

After picking the plants, it’s time to enjoy the taste. While we prepare our aperitif, the Coquoz restaurant in Planachaux, a forerunner in cooking with wild plants in the region, will be concocting an original and tasty 3-course meal based on their long experience in fine cuisine and edible wild plants.

You’ll leave with recipes, tips on recognising plants, and funny and surprising anecdotes about the uses of local plants.
