Annual concert | l’Écho de la Montagne

Champéry

The musicians of Champéry's l'Écho de la Montagne are delighted to present the fruits of their musical labor, under the baton of their young and talented new director: Victor Mariétan.

The concert will be divided into two distinct parts, with the first part devoted entirely to music. The pieces presented will be ambitious, with a large-scale piece forming the basis of this part (a piece that will be presented by the Écho de la Montagne to a jury next June at the Fête Cantonale des Musiques Valaisannes in Crans-Montana). Overture, concert march and solo pieces add up to an emotional start to the concert.

After the intermission comes the second part of the program, in which ambience is preferred to virtuosity. The pieces are festive and performed with great dynamism, sometimes even with a touch of humor, guided by a common thread in keeping with the chosen theme: Bavarian music. There’ll be plenty of toe-tapping and humming along to well-known tunes, but above all, there’ll be plenty of fun to be had!

The evening continues with a popular ball, and music into the night with “Les BerGex”.
