A visual artist with an eclectic practice, Marie Husson presents her work on intimacy and memory.
A graduate of the Ecole du Louvre and the Ecole des Gobelins, Marie Husson will be in Val-d’Illiez to present her recent work on what she calls “the intervals of intimacy that lurk at the edge of visibility” – the abstraction of a doodle, the space between skin and clothing, a class photo that recalls itself to memory.
An exhibition that sounds like a whispered poem. We are invited to discover, through her practice of drawing, oil painting, embroidery, patchwork – “a note-taking of these small incidents of reality” – Marie Husson.
