Compagnie Push-up
The pitch
A thirty-something woman decides to follow in the footsteps of a Swiss feminist from the 50s, Iris von Roten, a woman she admires but knows little about. She discovers the story of a woman and a man (Peter von Roten) who inspire her more than she could have imagined.
Through her research and the process of creating the show, in the manner of an essay on herself, investigator Pauline Epiney, accompanied by her partner Fred Mudry, tells us her love story, her fears and desires, woven into the mirror of Iris and Peter’s love story.
It’s a tale of fragility, sensuality and madness. All sprinkled with humor and music.
