Information on the household waste disposal tax:
As of January 1st, 2018, all non-recyclable household waste must be disposed of in official, taxed bin bags. These white bags are available for purchase in shops. They must absolutely be thrown out in Morgins and Troistorrents containers (at the Ecopoints or at our recycling center). It is strictly forbidden to use any other bags. Infractions will be reported and fraudsters can be fined up to CHF 10’000.-
Green food waste:
A “GastroVert Private” food collection system has been set up in the municipality of Troistorrents. If your household wishes to use this service, you can get the card that unlocks the access to the system at the Administration for CHF 10.00. The card can be ordered also at the RDDM tourist office in Morgins.
