More than just a ski race, the Grand Prix Migros is a fun-for-all celebration of skiing over winning!

The important thing is to take part!

The biggest ski race for children and young people aged 8 to 16 offers all winter sports fans an unforgettable experience on and off the slopes! Whether you’re a beginner or an expert skier, there’s something for everyone at the Migros Grand Prix. In addition to the chance to experience racing for the first time on the slopes, or even to chase the fastest time, the coaching program also offers a host of fantastic opportunities. Under the motto “more than a ski race”, participants will have access to a wide range of off-piste activities. From competitions to great games, the Migros Village Grand Prix awaits you.

“Les portes du soleil”, as the Portes du Soleil ski area is called in German, is also the gateway to the second month of racing for the Grand Prix Migros 2025. Les Crosets will host the fifth race of the season on February 8, at which the best up-and-coming athletes can already qualify for the final in Davos in early April. And the vacation resort has already had experience with the Migros Grand Prix Final: in 2015, it was held at Les Crosets.

What’s more, the resort undoubtedly deserves to be called “small but large”: although it has only 60 permanent inhabitants, it is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area. This area spans two countries – France and Switzerland – and offers a total of 195 lifts.

Last but not least, Les Crosets has also played host to renowned participants in previous Migros Grand Prix events. Mélanie Meillard qualified for the grand final at the 2010 race. She remains one of the best-ever participants in the Migros Grand Prix: in total, the World Cup skier has won the biggest ski race for children and young people five times, and placed second and third once.

Practical information:
– On Sunday, February 9, the Les Crosets ski area will also host a second Swiss-Ski event: the Migros Ski Day.
– No racing experience is required to take part in the Migros Grand Prix. The course is accessible to everyone (even skiers with little training).
– All children born in 2018 or younger can take part in the Migros Minirace Grand Prix. Children and young people born between 2009 and 2017 can take part in one of the Migros Grand Prix qualifying races. In each qualifying race, the four fastest girls and four fastest boys from each year qualify for the Migros Grand Prix Final.
– Registration opens on October 25, 2024.
