Mixed Relay Race

In mixed teams of 2 athletes, the relay is an intense race where the course is completed in around ten minutes. All the technical skills of ski mountaineering are on the programme, and the handover, a strategic moment in this event, can tip the race in favour or against one team.

Vertical Race

A formidable race, the Vertical Race is a pure ascent, with no descents or transitions. Straight up the slope, only the fastest, most powerful, and precise skier triumphs at the top.

The individual ski mountaineering race is an adventure event where athletes compete against each other! The one-hour course is a mixture of climbs and descents in a mountainous environMt. Endurance, mastery of handling and downhill technique are essential to stand out from the crowd and claim the title of best skier.
