Combining strategy, competition and a whole lot of fun, curling closely resembles the French game of Pétanque. Large, granite stones are slid down lanes of ice towards a circular target while team members frantically sweep the path in front of the stone in order to control its speed and direction.

The Palladium has also recently been designated as a European Curling Centre. The Palladium‘s curling rink has 3 curling sheets that are kept open all year round. If you’ve never tried this unique and challenging sport, the Curling Club regularly organizes curling initiations for groups on request.
